Chia seeds are a new "super food" that I decided to give a try. Packed with omega-3 fatty acids, carbohydrates, protein, antioxidants, calcium, and fiber- there are many benefits to them. They can be added to oatmeal, smoothies, granola, jam, and even backed goods.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp chia seeds
1 cup almond milk
5 Blackberries
Drizzle of honey
Toppings: granola, nuts, blackberries
Instructions:
1. Mash blackberries in the bottom of your jar.
2. Add chia seeds. Pour in almond milk.
3. Shake jar and then place in refrigerator for at least two hours (I do this overnight)
4. Garnish with toppings before enjoying
